We are excited to announce that HATS will be able to offer a 0.25 GRA to one or two interested graduate students beginning this summer and through the academic year. The student will join the HATS management team and will contribute to building our HATS community of practice. The expected responsibilities will include:
- website management,
- a role on a specific HATS research projects,
- the preparation of webinars and invited lecture series,
- and the development of HATS content modules for the graduate and undergraduate curricula.
Sought-after qualifications can include:
- strong writing skills,
- familiarity of the research process (i.e. qualitative or quantitative analysis),
- GIS and database management,
- and/or communications experience.
We look for candidates who have an intellectual interest in disaster management and humanitarian assistance and related themes in development and enjoy working in a team environment.
